How We Handle Data
Silence Trimmer lets you import local audio on your iPhone, detect and remove long silent gaps, and export a new m4a file. Analysis, trimming, and export all happen on this device. We do not upload your recordings to our servers, and the app has no accounts or cloud sync.
Information We Do Not Collect
This version does not collect your name, email, phone number, or advertising identifier, and does not include third-party analytics, advertising, or crash-reporting SDKs. The original audio file is never modified. Processed files stay in local temporary storage until you choose to export them through the system share sheet.
Local Files and Access
Audio you choose to import, and temporary files created during processing, remain on this device. The app reads only the files you select with the system file picker and does not scan your photo library or Files app in the background. After you delete the app, the system may remove related local data.
In-App Purchases
Import, processing, and export require a one-time unlock. Payment is handled by the Apple App Store. We do not receive your card number, Apple ID password, or other payment credentials. Purchase eligibility is verified on-device through Apple StoreKit. Apple’s handling of transaction data is governed by Apple’s privacy policy.
No Sale or Sharing
Silence Trimmer does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We do not share your data with third parties unless required by law or to respond to an email inquiry you initiate.
